PT3.S2.Q9 - Coffee Lighteners

Can someone please explain how D is correct? because when I read it, it did not seem like it would strengthen the argument, since its says consumers added smaller quantiles of coconut oil as oppose to whole milk.

Hello, manufacturer of coconut says they their products usually cause the typical consumer's blood cholesterol to rise to a lower level than those who drink coffee with a dairy product. Think of it like a math problem with ratios.
1 Tablespoon coconut = 3 milligrams of cholesterol
1 Tablespoon dairy = 2 milligrams of cholesterol
now adding AC D and comparing
1 Tablespoon of coconut = 3 milligrams of cholesterol.
3 Tablespoons of dairy = 6 milligrams of cholesterol.

With AC D we know that people would add more dairy in comparison to coconut product, however we don't know how much but that does not matter because we are strengthening. In the example above we see someone who adds just 1 Tablespoon of coconut and one person who uses dairy. Then we add AC D that says people who use dairy will use more than people who use coconut and that is what is below "AC D." This shows that maybe the people who use dairy put 3 tablespoons in their coffee compared with coconut users who only use 1 tablespoon and if this is true then people who use dairy would be getting 6 milligrams of cholesterol compared with the coconut users who get only 3 milligrams of cholesterol, yes people who use the coconut product would be getting less cholesterol and thus raise their cholesterol to a lower level than the dairy users.

I agree with the explanation above. t seems that none of the other answers could possibly strengthen.
