PT6.S2.Q14 - Joshua Smith's new novel

Can someone explain why B can't be a good answer? My logic was that everyone that reads the book agreeing that the incidents could happen, i.e. not implausible, doesn't mean that the story isn't implausible since they can well interpret it wrong.

I think this is a part to whole flaw. It may be true that each individual event is plausible, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's plausible for all of these individual events to take place within the confines of one novel. For example, it's perfectly likely you'll go to the grocery store today and then get your gas and laundry, but how likely is it that you'll go to the grocery store, get your gas and laundry, visit your aunt Pia, and then go to 7-11 to get a bag of Skittles all in one smooth timeline? Each individual event is likely but it doesn't mean it's likely that the entire string of events will take place in order in one book.
