Can anyone explain why natural cause in (B) excludes only meteorite but not volcanic events?
Why isn't volcanic activity a natural cause...?
I got every detail right, but eliminated (B) right away since I thought natural cause refers to both meteorite and volcanic events.

AC B is ruling out the cause of the "eight meteorite craters of different ages forming a straight line" from being a natural cause. That would include volcanoes too. Meteorites really only have one option for causing the craters which is basically slamming into the earth. Volcanoes could've created the craters and the rocks that exhibit high-pressure shock through "volcanic events," e.g., a volcanic eruption.
I realized I missed the point of "meteorite craters" on question (b)... How stupid...Thanks for explanation!
