When should I sign up for CAS?

I am currently studying with an intention of applying for entry in Fall 2025 as I work full time. Would it make sense to purchase CAS now for rec letter purposes from professors at my university. I recently graduated, but am nervous the more I wait, there is a chance they could forget who I was or not remember my contributions in classes.

Recommendations letters are good for two years. Only because after two years, it’s better to request a new one. Keeping that in mind, I would sign up and put the request in when it fits your timeframe. Or, you can give your recommenders a heads up so they are expecting a request down the line and only sign up, when you’re ready.
