What exactly is a clean question?

In the drilling mode section it says there are a certain amount of 'clean questions' remaining for each category. Does this refer to questions that only exist in PTs 1-35? I would like to do more drills but also don't want to spoil future practice tests.

Clean questions are questions you haven't seen/answered before.

Yeah but do they include questions in later practice tests? for example i'm sure a question in PT 85 would be considered 'clean' but I don't want to take a drill with any such question and spoil the actual PT for myself later. So I was wondering if the pool of clean questions is limited to a certain amount of PTs

The core curriculum is made up of just 1-35 so you'll be fine there. The total clean questions includes all PTs, just set your drilling mode to older tests or newer and save the newest for full takes, that's what I did.
