I stumbled on this Twitter thread and found it super interesting, and then thought... hey, I wonder if that would help calm people's nerves before an LSAT? Obviously this is a random twitter thread and I'm no expert, but it's an interesting idea for the many folks that have test anxiety. Maybe it's wise to try splashing cold water on your face and holding your breath for 30 seconds? Science! It's neat.

Thanks for the find! This will help us for LSAT, 1L exams and the Bar.
The thread is gold!
A lot of the people I help tutor I have them use the 4:7:8 technique
4 sec count inhale, 7 second hold and 8 second exhale.
I learned this in a mindfulness class. It's really useful and can help on the test especially between sections or between difficult games.
Awesome, thanks for the suggestion. Also, since we're talking about test anxiety, has anyone tried beta blockers before? I know a lot of music performance majors use them and they seem effective with minimal to no side effects.
Very cool!
