When to bubble in those unanswered questions

I've heard of different strategies on when to bubble in guesses for the questions you skipped and wanted to know which people tend to prefer doing. It also freaked me out after hearing about someone getting kicked out during testing because he was caught bubbling in guesses for a previous section.

  1. Bubble in guesses at the 5 minute mark.
  2. Bubble in guesses at the start of the next section.
  3. Bubble in guesses after all 5 sections.
  4. and the most preferred, but often unattainable method - solve all skipped questions in the time remaining.

    At the 5 minute mark.

Options 2 and 3 are cheating and if they catch you it could be serious.

If you are going to have time left anyway as in option 4 then doing it at the 5 minute mark will be fine.

3 isn't even possible, as the test booklet and the answer sheet are collected before the writing sample is given out.
