Curve/Difficulty

What does a -10 curve look like? How many can you miss for a 160?

Very upset with time management. Felt as if RC was easy but had to guess on last 4 as well as last 4 of Games. Just want a 160

    Does "-10 curve" mean that you can miss up to 10 questions and still get a 170?

    @tekken1225 yes, this is how people refer to "the curve." Traditionally, a -10 exam, meaning you can get a -10 and still get a 170, puts someone at roughly a -24/-25 for a 160.

    @BinghamtonDave, thanks for the info.

    Just on a side note, do you know what was the record for the most generous curve out of all the preptests published so far?

    @tekken1225 I believe it was a -16 for a 170. PT 23, I think it was. The only more recent exam that I am aware of that comes close to that is -14 for PT 71 and -14 for PT 65.

    I've been really concerned about the curve too ever since Dave Killoran tweeted about the predicted curve.

    I have to think February14/July2018 gave em a run for their money- but we will never know.
