Anyone knows law schools use cumulative or degree GPA (from LSAC) for their 509 report?
Also, which GPA is more important for law schools when they review students’ application ?
Thank you!!

Cumulative is more important and law schools use that
does community college gpa mix in the University GPA
it mix in cumulative GPA, not degree GPA
What is degree GPA? your upper division units? or your major courses units? Also i dont think ur degree gpa shows up on your Law school applications?
The degree GPA is calculated from the courses taken for your major (English, Biology, Engineering). The cumulative GPA is calculated from all undergraduate credits earned (community college, summer credits, undergrad institution, etc.). The admissions committee receives both GPAs in your LSAC CAS Report.
Thank you for answering my question. Do you know which one they use for their 509 report? I see each school has GPA percentile on the report, but I am wondering which one they use for this report. Thank you
Cumulative GPA is used for reporting purposes.
