Digital - taking notes

One huge disadvantage to the digital one is that I can’t annotate or write on the tablet. The scratch paper doesn’t really help except for the logic games 
. Any advise?

I took the digital today and will make some updates based on my experience today!
Thank you so much! The stylus was giving me a hard time (wish they could hand out a slimmer/precise stylus) so I ended up not using any of the tools.
