Filming Myself Drilling - Logistics?

Hello, I was wondering how some of you film yourself?

The only filming options I have for 35 min of video storage is via my laptop webcam....

Should I just try to angle the camera to capture the paper as best as I can?

If I were to use my phone (once I get more storage)...how should I angle it without a podium?

Would appreciate any tricks!

    I was going to purchase a stand that hovers over my test, but I was able to cut up a cardboard box in a way that sits on my desk perfectly. I basically flipped it upside down and cut off the front and back to where it made a simple U-shaped frame. I just cut a hole in the top of the frame and let the lens of my camera hover over it.
