i took lsat in 2008 and had a complete anxiety attack whilst the person next to me was incessantly tapping their pencil. I had to walk out...and well i think you know what the rest of that story is. Please tell me ear plugs are allowed. or am i going to have crumble scratch paper and ball it up in my ears???

Unfortunately not, here is the list of allowed items:
https://www.lsac.org/lsat/taking-lsat/lsat-test-center-admission-requirements
It says in the Candidate Agreement,
"You may not bring into the test center or use any of the following: books, dictionaries, papers of any kind, rulers, mechanical pencils, mechanical erasers or erasers with sleeves, ink pens or felt-tip markers, briefcases, handbags, backpacks of any kind, or earplugs. Hats/hoods (except religious apparel) may not be worn on the head."
You can not bring in earplugs. I requested to wear them and they denied it.
not unless you get accommodations
they're not allowed; but if you're ballsy, I did see a guy totally get away with it once.
