Hey 7Sagers,
Here's the official January 2020 LSAT Discussion Thread.
Please keep all discussions of the January 2020 LSAT here!
Rules:
✅ You can identify experimental sections. 🙆♀️
You can say things such as the following:
- “I had two LGs! Was the LG with "flowers" real or experimental?”
- “I had two RCs! Was the section that starts with the honeybee passage real?”
- “I had three LRs! Does anyone know if the first LR section with the goose question is real?”
❌ You can't discuss specific questions. 🙅♂️
You CANNOT say things such as the following:
- “Hey, the 3rd LG was sequencing and the last one was In/Out, right?” (Don't mention the game type)
- “The last question in the first LR section was a lawgic heavy MBT! Was the answer (B)?” (Don't mention the question type or ask what the answer was)
- “What was the answer for the last question of RC? I think it was an inference question? Was the answer (C)?” (Don't mention the question type or ask what the answer was)

I had 2 RC sections. Was the one that had a passage about courtrooms real or experimental?
I had one reading comp and it didn’t have a courtroom question
I had two RC
One about Nigeria and the other about Internet?
x
Which RC is the real one? I got one with quantum physics and one with forgery art
Forgery art. And unfortunately for me that was my less confident RC section (I had 2) and it was my last section of the test. Wish the other RC counted lol.
@TheTribeBoi i got these two as well LOL forgery art was the last section
@dncdrc_04 same. Why do they have to put 2 RCs and have the one that counts be last when your brain is spent. Talk about being mean lol.
@thatgtdude89 lol I didn’t finish the first one but found the one with forgery art easier than the first
Had two RCs--First one had a passage about prosecutorial misconduct and the second RC had a comparative on forgery art and one on how to delay aging. I thought my second set of RC was easier.
LG is usually my best section but I experienced my first real LSAT anxiety attack during the third game (student presentations)...
@dncdrc_04 some passages were easier but I felt rushed. Came back and did the first passage last and had to guess on a couple because I was running out of time.
same here lol good luck!> @dncdrc_04 said:

I froze too! I couldn’t even get to the fourth game :(
forgery art is real (i think, my memory sucks right now)
bro the order is probably random
That last game f***** me up
I had 3 LR sections. Was the one dealing with monkeys yawning real? it also talked about LDL vs. HDL cholesterol.
@rosenfeldtmike65 you are correct
I had one RC and it included the internet issue and also art forgery.
I had 3 LR sections I only remember that the last one had something about monkey yawning
My setup was LR LG LR RC LR
I had that too so I guess it was real.
I had a LR section with rattlesnakes and squirrels, was that real?
Yeah this is the real one. Daaamn I remember the monkey one. @rosenfeldtmike65 said:
Did you have an LR section with monkeys yawning or HDL LDL
LR LG LG LR RC
LG kicked my ass today. All a blur honestly. I’m trying to remember the subjects of the questions. Can anybody help?
Game 1- ?
Game 2- ?
Game 3- Senior/Junior committees
Game 4- Brewery
I had no idea what that fourth game was even talking about...
believe another was about towns
Had 3LR and had this.
Very helpful link to determine real sections
https://forum.powerscore.com/lsat/viewtopic.php?t=31804
So the monkeys yawning was definitely a real LR? Messed that section up
it was about the order in which you should go about getting hammered
was that the one that also had a question about rattlesnakes and squirrels?
Happy to info you that the second one was the real one.
Do u remember questions from the 2 LR? I and many others had 3 LRS and it would help us a lot. Thnx!
Yes I’m 99% sure
That was what I had too. In addition to the linguistics one.
Had one RC. Linguistic one was real.
I'm confused as to whether people with 3 LR's can have the same experimental...or does absolutely everyone have a distinct experimental (which seems crazy to me).
It's possible we had the same exp. I remember a question about moon/grav forces, blood substitutes, hdh/LDL, moral and beliefs, chimpanzees yawn, side dishes, restaurants removing menu items, architecture conference, figurines found at a site.
And a question about a company being invited to a march
Anyone have a prediction for the curve?
Dave Killoran said he predicts -10
Yes this was my last section overall (3rd LR).
Does anybody remember the word they called the languages that are invented for trading purposes? (From RC)
I had 3 LR sections RC last again (ughh) So spent when it gets to that point. Mine was the Internet section.
Can someone please explain this to me LOL?
@vokraszewski @Hannah14 yea same here. Where does he get -10 from? And I'm assuming this is raw he's talking about?
He is guessing that it will be a max -10 questions to get a 170. He probably spoke with students regarding their experiences to get a feel for the difficulty. He may have info about the test from nonpublic sources. At least he has said that in the past in one of his podcasts.
Were there anymore than usual a type of questions for LR sections? Like flaw, NA etc?
do you mean pidgin?
Yes, that's what I was looking for, I wanted to research more about it. Thank you.
Does anyone remember how many questions was the last game?
I apologize if this question doesn't really belong in here, but I was wondering if someone could give me insight on how similar 7sage's digital PT's are to the actual LSAT. Any insight will be much appreciated!
