hi there,
I tried a google and forum search but came up with nothing.
Does anyone happen to have a list of LR that use "unless" in their steam or answer choice that they could share?
thanks

I usually see one or two per PT so you might just have to keep an eye out for them when you're studying.
Hey, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but if it's regarding the "unless" statement. Follow the rule negated sufficient.
I'm chugging maple syrup unless I'm studying.
/CMS--->I'm studying. I'm not chucking maple syrup only when I'm studying.
Or If I'm not studying then i'm chugging maple syrup.
Which would look like the contrapositive. /S --> CMS.
I'm not entirely sure if you're asking if you're confused about the rule or if there are question stems with the UNLESS in it. but I haven't seen any question stems with UNLESS if I'm not mistaken.. Moreover, there are answer choices were the 'Unless" is present. From there just follow the rule.
Most of the time when i'm doing it. I'll just negate it and read it as if it's negated. But if it's a complex statement i'll follow the translation and draw it out if I get stuck. The CC here helps you sharpen you intuitive understanding of the rule by drilling it.
If you do get suck on it during a PT. Go back to on your BR, and spend time drawing it out and really unpack the question.
I hope this helps.
Let me know if it did, if not I'll try again!
I figured out my own little trick. This is what I do:
statement: "I will eat peanut butter unless I'm suicidal."
I write out the conclusion first: --> Eat peanut butter
Then I negate the trigger: ~ Suicidal
~ suicidal -> Eat peanut butter
Then I contrapose. Voila.
