PT24.S3.Q4 - "end-of-history" theory

I wanna discuss about P's reasoning method; especially how does P from M's words make this inference: "no one else could read them, according to your hypothesis."

is there any part in M's reasoning can P infer that people not knowing the epics well enough to write them down can't read them.

Thank you so much for the help.

Hello! Believe the "no one else could read them [H. epics]" portion in P's ARG comes from the fact that a person who invents a new alphabet, as M proposes, would be the only one who could know how to read/use it... unless the person who invents it decides to somehow teach or share the knowledge of how to read and use this new alphabet with others besides the inventor.

If you think about it, it is kind of pointless to invent a language/alphabet in order to preserve some text if you don't also give others a way to be able to learn/decipher the new alphabet, too. This is what the correct A/C calls out.

Thank you so much Lime Green Dot! I can't believe I repeatedly missed "invent".
