Withdrawal vs. Denial

I spoke to a Dean of Admissions for law school. I didn't get in this year but she is pushing for me to withdraw my application. I am not sure why that's the case. Does anyone know? Should I just wait for a denial or withdraw my application? Thanks.

Withdraw to reapply next year maybe? Perhaps not having a denial on record would be more beneficial for reapplying next year. All I can think of but I am by no means authoritative.

That's a very unusual comment. Are you currently on a waitlist?

Nope. She reached out to me. Spoke to me for an hour giving me pointers on how to improve my LSAT score. She said she wanted me to score better and reapply. I don't understand why she took the time to speak to me when she could just have denied my application.
