Test for a 3rd time?

My score came out and after 6 months of additional studying it’s 2 points lower than my first take. I feel like I choked on test day and the 2nd score isn’t representative of my current abilities at all. At the same time, I’ve heard that more than 2 takes can be a red flag to top schools. What do y’all think? Go for a 3rd?

Definitely go for a third! 3-4 takes is in no way viewed abnormally

I have 7 takes, and did fine. If there is any negative effect of a third (fourth, fifth, etc.) score, it is by far outweighed by the impact of it being a higher score.

Same exact thing happened to me! My second LSAT score is exactly 2 points lower than my first, and nowhere near my current avg PT score. I want to take it again in August because I also don't feel June represented my abilities well. But, at the same time, I'm nervous the same thing will happen again, and on a 3rd retake, look even worse.
