I keep seeing different information about this, so I wanted to ask here. If you've already completed a writing sample for a different test date, do you need to do another one if you retake the test?

    I'm pretty sure that once they have a writing sample on file you don't need to complete another one.

    You don't have to retake the writing test if you have one in file and that has not expired (5 years).
