  There are exceptions. On easier questions (like one or two star questions) you'll often find that premise and conclusion indicators directly reveal to you the premises or conclusion. On more difficult questions (like three stars and up), however, the indicators alone aren't enough to identify the premises or conclusion. Sometimes, harder questions even use indicators to try to trick you. Often, for instance, these questions have sub-conclusions and the conclusion indicator will introduce the sub-conclusion. As a result, you shouldn't just rely on conventional indicators to separate premises from conclusions. While they can be useful, you must read the argument and evaluate what it's trying to explain, the support structure, etc.

  @"Matt Sorr" Thank you! I had a feeling that was the case but just wanted to make sure I wasn't overcomplicating it
