I chose A after going between that and C for an extended period of time. Does anyone have insight as to why I should eliminate C? Thanks! #help

The conclusion in the prompt, and in ac A, limits itself to the three objects being anazlyed.
"only culture known to be from the surrounding area..." Doesn't exclude possibility of unknown culture being responsible for the inscriptions.
" of the three suspects in custody..." Doesn't exclude an unknown suspect from being the burgalar.
meanwhile C reaches out and excludes objects outside of the three objects it is analzying
"Nieves is the only person". This wording excludes not well known designers from potentially being the person who designed the Ultra 180.
Only X, Y, and Z are known to have inhabited that area. What we know is not necessarily indicative of what is actually true, there could be long lost civilizations within that area that we simply cannot account for. But of all the ones we know, only Z remains as a viable option. That does not mean Z is the only possible option rather the only option that we know of.
Answer choice A: Of all the known suspects, only Kapp remains a viable option. But what we know is not indicative of what is actually true, and so there could be other suspects that we simply have not accounted for. That does not mean kappa is the only possible person who committed the burglary rather Kapp is the only suspect that we know of.
Answer choice C: of all the known designers who could have designers who could have designed the Ultra 180, only Nieves remains a known option. But we can't say (as C does) that Nieves is the only possible option, only that Nieves is the only person that we know of who could have designed it.
