I tried asking this almost a year ago through email to someone I thought may know and never got the answer yet lol though it was more in regards to LG- at the time was similarly prepping for jan 24 with the same amount of time you have now-. But I reckon most people would recommend getting through the full thing especially paying attention to conditionals. I still have barely done the CC to date but I have a decent handle on things. Unless your a natural or just aiming for something in the mid 150s to 160's, you should definitely find the time. (Sorry for the long winded answer xD) .... P.S. they say don't register for the test until you are PT'ing at where you want to score too.
Scrap your plan and give the course it's due time unless you're already well versed in the material this test is based on. Even then, you'll need to familiarize yourself with the test itself and practice taking it.
it's less about the course and more about the application. if you're just starting out, save yourself the trouble and push your test date. unless you're already scoring in the mid 160s, in which case you probably don't need the course.
