Hey y'all, I am thinking of writing an addenda about a family emergency I experienced earlier this year (I will write a bit more below). Additionally, should we but trigger warnings if we discuss heavier topics? With that I will put a TW: Suicide Attempt for what I am going to continue to mention down below:

My brother's SA was a couple months ago as I was getting ready to start studying for the LSAT. Of course I delayed it to be with my brother and family but it deeply impacted me (and honestly still does). I have been formally diagnosed with some conditions because of this and although I have been able to study, it has been hard. Should I write about this in an addenda? If so, would it be appropriate of me to put a trigger warning? Thank you in advance for any replies

I'm so sorry for what you have been through.I am unemployed due to mental health and God is helping me through. Because of that, I have been able to study since April for the LSATs and taking it in Nov. Have you taken the LSATS already and gotten a lower score? What is your GPA? I am 39 so I will probably write an addendum for a GPA I got almost 20 years ago in college lol. If you have a low LSAT, you still have time to retake in February if you would like. If not, you can write an addendum and say a family member had a life threatening urgency and you had to help take care of them (you don't have to say what if you do not want to) which threw off your studying for the LSAT. Law schools understand emergencies like this happen in life. I relate to what you are going through and please know, taking the LSATS is a HUGE accomplishment you should be proud of. Look at you making it!
I would like to inbox you if you would like and we can encourage each other. Blessings!
Jenn
P.S. I personally would not mention your own mental health in an addendum. with that said, no trigger warning is needed.
