Official Feb. LSAT Discussion Thread

edited February 2016 in General 12637 karma
Hey guys! Here's the official Feb. LSAT Discussion Thread. Please keep all discussions of the Feb. 2016 LSAT here.

Here's some ground rules, taken from my usual sticky:

We know that everyone will be excited to discuss what was on the Feb '16 LSAT, but mentioning specifics about the test (e.g., "I got B for question 6" or "the 3rd LG was sequencing") can get both us and you in a lot of trouble with LSAC. Saying that the test was hard/easy without going into detail is okay, but anything more specific is not okay. LSAC monitors this forum.

If you're unsure what may be too specific, feel free to PM me with what you'd like to post.

One exception is you can say which section was the experimental. For example, the LG with "flowers" was experimental. That's okay.

TL;DR: PLEASE don't talk specifics about February's LSAT!

Have fun discussing!

------------------------

Please note that the information below will change to reflect the information we get! Contribute if you can without going into too much detail. If you think something is wrong or should be added, please post in the thread and let me know.

No RC discussion yet! Care to post what you got so we can compare? Very vague descriptions please.

I only had one RC. The real RC must have been the one where the last passage is about shrubs, bushes.

Ah I'm the one who posted about that one. I'm not 100% sure, I didn't take the test. I saw someone on Reddit referencing it, saying it was very hard.

Real RC was the botanists and shrubs. The comparative was about suburban sprawl. The legal one was about employes rights.

Real lg was pillows and mirrors, the cities, and the bookstore. There was also one about days and volunteers?

My experimental RC was money and happiness. Jazz and Latin music. Volcanoes. And the problem of evasion. It was super easy and I'm sad it wasn't real.

    Physics/psychology

Still looking, but you can help by posting:
    1) How many LR sections you had
    2) A vague description of what kind of LR questions you had. Ex: "LR about cats"

I only had two LR. I think moths a and bats and physics/psychology were from separate sections

I had three sections. I remember one with highway toll collection via electronic passes? Oh, and another one about highway repair/gas tax. Think they were in the same section. Not certain, though.

So far these two are presumed to be real:
    - Moths / Bats
    - Physics / Psychology

They may be in different sections!

I had three LR sections: 1,3,5.

Section one was extremely easy for me, was that the experimental? I don't know if everyone who had an LR experimental has them in that order but I can't remember what questions were in the easy one (all I remember for sure is that my section 3 LR has the question about the monkeys)
