Who else is aiming for a 174+ on the Feb LSAT?

I would love to join forces with any of you out there-- either in person or online! I live in Poughkeepsie, NY, but I work in Manhattan (for any of the locals?). Either way, looking forward to the next 4 months.

If only I hadn't taken that Oct 2015 test, lol. Although, there's still a decent chance I wouldn't be retaking even if I did have another take. We'll see once Sept scores are out.

Anyway, check out the BR groups. Lots of high scorers and future sages in the group right now. Hope to see you there!

It's none of my business, but it would be interesting to see where everyone's PTing now who's aiming at 17X in Feb. What was your diagnostic and what's your weakness?

My diagnostic was 166 but I didn't time it properly. Realistically, I probably started around 160. My most recent PT was # 75 today (scored 173). My weakness is LG -- I usually get at least 3 wrong on that section...

For me, I definitely have a chance at 17x but not like people who've done 20+ PTs in that range. In any case, I'm giving it my best shot this December (I didn't see that topic was about Feb specifically). My backup date will probably be June.

@"Stevie C" That's eerily similar to my situation. Diag 164, sucking wind in LG, can't consistently do 170+, done about 10ish PTs. I started briefly last year but quickly aborted when my friend paused her prep. Just picked up again, and we're planning for Feb. Any advice?

Did you do the core curriculum before your PTs ?

I'm aiming for a 175+ but would be happy with a 174 :) Though I should add that I work full time and I'm aiming for June '17. Sending out apps in fall '17.

@Q.E.D my first diag was high 160s although it wasn't totally cold since I had done a few sample logic games (not a ton) from the LGB first.

I was pretty solid on RG and LR already (math major must have helped) so I've just been drilling logic games almost exclusively. I've only done five or so full PTs but I've done a few dozen timed LG sections.

Currently PTing in the 176-180 range.

Checking in. Aiming for a 173+. Averaging above this, but only by a point or so over my last 10 tests, so slightly worried. Recently lost my BR partner if anybody is interested. Will be doing the most recent PTs over the next several weeks

Just a disclaimer- I've decided to delay my take until June because I'm not hitting my goal score yet (maybe September, depending on my progress). Still willing to join forces with anyone on the same track! For those in February- GOOD LUCK! For those delaying- we're still awesome. Let's do this together

Absolutely you are! It takes most top scorers longer than they think it will, so y'all delayers are in great company.
