What defines a highlighter or pen?

Where does the definition of pen stop and the definition of a highlighter begin?

Are Pape Mate Flair pens considered pens if they are felt tipped, neon colors? Are Crayola thin markers pens or highlighters?

What's the smallest a highlighter tip can be and still be defined as an LSAT-legal highlighter?

Hard to say, especially in regards to the Papermate flairs... I would personally consider them a pen; but technically they are a marker.

I think the only way to find out is to contact the LSAC.

LSAC specifies you cannot bring any felt-tip markers to the site. Among the exhaustive list includes:
1. Electronic cigarettes
2. Personal computers
3.Rulers
4. Calculators
