Just got my score back and im elated. Thanks 7 Sage for helping me exceed my target score on my retake. Paid subscription ends tomorrow, but I'll still be around.
Congrats!!!! If you don't mind my asking, how many points did you improve on retake? You don't have to give actual scores if you're uncomfortable with that sort of thing! I'd just like to know for my own motivation ^__^.
@TheLoftGuy better than I imagined. High enough to get more scholarship money (and maybe make money as a tutor, if anyone is interested)! I was unexpectedly admitted to my top schools prior to taking the December lsat and considered not taking it again...I'm glad I did.
wow that's fantastic! can you tell me how you picked yourself up after september results were out? your study schedule post september must have been great. Congrats!
@stgl1230 According to my Advisor I am 1 point away from a huge difference (25%) in $. Slightly devastated after just speaking to her. How much are your tutoring services?
@dec_lsat I studied 5 hrs per day Monday-Saturday. In noisy unfamiliar places Starbucks, Panera and occasionally a library. I read online that studying in a quite place wasn't helpful. This 1 point has me devastated tho. I may take Feb after all. Should've talked to the advisor before I made this status.

just one point?? can you write an awesome PS or something to make up for the one point or does the school look only at numbers? also - does your school do extra essays for scholarships? I've heard of a couple of schools accepting students then asking for scholarship essays. if so, maybe you can make up for the point there and not have to retake?
