  • Always started with a Logic Game! I would wake up at like 4:30 and bust out a game or two. They were fun for me, and they rely on conditional logic, so I figured it was a positive way to kick start the brain. Then I would tackle the more annoying th…

  • It'll click and you won't even know when/where it happened. Then you'll be finishing games early and going -0/-1 most of the time unless there is some unusually beast game. I still do logic games over a year and a half later, I love them!
  • It took me a year and a half to get a 171 on the test and I was 27 when I started studying for it. This is completely normal and you shouldn't feel bad about it at all. Your race is different than everyone else's! I ended up at a great law school …
  • @Sami @"Habeas Porpoise" YASSS! Congrats, you worked so hard for this! Welcome to the Sage club you two
  • If you are going through CalVet wouldn't you be using your GI bill? And if so, the GI bill would cover almost any school in the country. I'm currently using my GI bill to go to Northwestern and since they are yellow ribbon I get 100% tuition covera…
  • Try r/lawschool on reddit for a better response. 7Sage is mostly people who are not in law school yet!
  • @"Mr. Singh" taking this way to seriously my dude. No one here is a lawyer yet. Nor does it really matter if OP can prove assault or not. OP is just asking for some simple advice, no need to fight everyone about the law. Simple "this is a good idea"…

  • Took me a year and 1/4 to score a 171 on the real test. Started scoring 170's about 6 months before I got the actual score

  • I have been summoned! Everything @"Leah M B" is absolutely correct. If you just want to see numbers, I had: cGPA: 2.83 LSAT: 171 Work experience: multiple years (and veteran) I was accepted off waitlist at Northwestern, and just finished my 1L …
  • It took me a year and a half of studying non-stop, and three attempts, to achieve my goal score on the LSAT. Along that road I felt frustrated, lost, confused, and defeated more often then I felt good about anything. I relied on pure “can-do” attit…
  • I’m not confusing sufficient and necessary, they are. That’s why they are violating the precept! Maybe the clearer way to say it would just be to say that the original statement; •IF inviting and functional THEN unobtrusive. No longer exists beca…
  • *edited out confusing explanation Clarified below
  • They will release people over time if they feel they have reached a point in admissions where they won’t need you to fill a spot. This could go all the way up until school starts though - it can be a long wait. Lol

  • If normal air contains X amount of helium-4 and the tested levels of helium-4 in the chamber is also X, it could just be that there was just a normal level of helium-4 in the air to begin with and there was no fusion that took place. What would str…
  • Someone who didn't go straight through school into law school. "traditional applicants" are also known as K-JD's which means kindergarten - juris doctors. If you are not that - then you are non-traditional.
  • P: If you are an A then you are a B. P: If you are a B then you are a C. MC: Therefore, if you are an A then you are a C. Gotta be careful!
  • Nah they want more people to apply to boost their numbers. I got a couple of those myself from schools that either outright rejected me or waitlisted me in the end. I think the consensus is; they don’t mean anything - but the application is free! (…

  • Take time off - seriously. Law school is going to consume your entire life starting in the fall, leave it until then. There’s nothing you’re going to do this summer that will significantly impact 1L, so just rest. 1L is no joke and you need to come…
  • NORTHWESTERN RULES You’re coming to an amazing school! One of the coolest things ever is to be able to look up, teary-eyed from your Martin Redish Civ Pro readings, and see the beautiful Lake Michigan spread out into the distance. Lol You will l…
  • As a 1L at a T-14 I can say that you can treat law school like a 9 to 5 job and be okay. More important than the time spent per week - is keeping up with work. There is no "cramming" in law school, at least in my experience. When you cover a topic i…
  • This is actually semi beneficial. Your test center, while quite, will have noise in the background. The proctors will shuffle through paper, people will be flipping pages, coughing, sneezing, barfing (lol sorta kidding here). I took a lot of my PT'…

  • Pre-law school jobs, while important, pale in comparison to the impact a good LSAT score will have. The LSAT + GPA accounts for the majority of weight that makes up your application, whereas a job might swing the vote in favor of two otherwise equal…
  • Sweet. Sweet. Victory! It is well earned my dude. Now you get to enjoy the loveliness of 1L (it’s not THAT bad haha) Seriously happy for you and NYU is lucky to have you. Although I’m also kinda hoping Harvard wakes up and realizes they should take…
  • Congrats!! This is great news. I’m happy you found success!
  • Hey hey! I’m a 29 year old in my first year of law School at Northwestern. I also had a poor cumulative GPA (2.83). The LSAT is your door opener - with a high LSAT (171) I was able to get waitlisted at a ton of great schools and ended up in a T-14!…
  • @FixedDice said: This (1) makes me wish that I can get admitted off a waitlist as soon as possible, and (2) reminded me to fill out those housing applications. Just out of curiosity, do admission offices give goodies for admitted students…
  • Congrats! So many Sagers destroying the test, it’s awesome!
