@JustinaJ Good to know I'm not alone. Could be a busy weekend finalizing and submitting some apps or --- not... Going to be miserable if scores don't come out by the March 1st deadline as I'll be going through the should-I-shouldn't-I routine! Tr…
Anyone else waiting on the Feb LSAT score to decide whether or not to submit law school applications to certain schools with a March 1 deadline? Will I be pressing SUBMIT or DELETE on the LSAC site?? So hope the scores are out tomorrow...
I feel the same way too about the 7Sage community. In fact, I've been wondering if there's a way we can keep up the network -- maybe we can help each other again at some stage or other during our law school years and careers. Is there a way we can…
@SirERPalot I sat at the end of the back row in the test room for the September LSAT and the same kept happening to me. Where I was sitting seemed to be the favorite stop-and-stare spot for a particular proctor. Like you, I found it distracting. …
@emli1000 I know exactly what you mean! I think that's part of the withdrawal I'm facing... A pop up now asks me if I want to set Law School Prep as my default on 7Sage but I'm not ready - too soon... That said, I am already beginning to tune in…
@blah170blah I'm happy that February is an undisclosed test otherwise I know I'd spend time obsessing over every question I missed and doing what if scenarios about the experimental section that didn't count towards my score. As it was my last LSA…
@Nathan Turley and @blah170blah -- Wow! Now I really have to get stuck into 1Q84. You've intrigued me with your posts. More to come...
I remember as a teenager reading Siddhartha by Herman Hesse for the first time, and then the second, and then…
@BrittanyB -- I skype interviewed with Northwestern Law for their accelerated JD program and it all proceeded very pleasantly. I actually felt it to be somewhat formulaic as the interviewer clearly was using a standard set of interview questions, w…
Hi @emli1000 -- the only thing I'd add to @jdawg113's reply is that for Fool Proof Review, if you have the slightest hesitation about an answer being correct, go over it first before watching the video, giving it as much time as it takes to get to a…
@emli1000 Yep, that's it - but a distracting work crisis has just hit my radar so now I'm on a mission again!
I really don't do all that well with unstructured down time. Roll on law school and I'll be plenty occupied and back to my driven self…
@blah170blah I'm a Murakami fan too! "A Wild Sheep Chase" is one of my all-time favorites. I've been saving his three-book 1Q84 till after the LSAT. I'll get on and start it now to help me get over my weird post-LSAT blues!
My test center was so sweet. At the end when we trooped outside they had refreshments for all the test takers (and, of course, they were handing out info on their law school at the same time!).
@royaimani As harrismegan says, I took the LSAT before and interpret his 'or' as the inclusive or - this was my 3rd (and final!) LSAT. I didn't expect to get a law school acceptance before taking the February test, but it was nice to have that as…
You're right, jdawg113. As Deputy Director of an American international school here and with the Director away, it's pushing it to leave as is. Hope you're relaxing -- about to wind down here... By the way, thanks for all your great contributions…
So many degrees, Nilesh! I thought I'd covered most bases with my MD PhD MSEd but look at you go! Yes, I may well accept UCI Law but I'll wait to hear from other schools too, though I do have the big draw of my daughters both being at UCI Law (a 1…
Flying to another country, jdawg113! No test centers here in Costa Rica.
Nilesh: good tips! Thanks for the link. Getting the hydration vs. desperate-for-the-restroom balance is important. My last test center was really s-l-o-w (e.g., handed o…
Often there's two or even three easy deletes among the answer choices because of disparities between all/some/probably/most etc. E.g., if the stimulus is somes and possibles, then strike out any answer choice that is expressing stuff more strongly …
Thanks for all the comments and may your dreams come true too. Best wishes! [tsamvelyan - When you're at UC Irvine, just look out for the older lady ;-) ]
Based on my experience, definitely go for the LSAT Trainer as well as 7Sage. I'd also throw in Cambridge drill sets. My biggest area for growth in terms of consistent performance is in my favorite section, the logic games. I have learned SO MUCH …
I am someone who constantly takes in everything around me, which is great for many situations but not for the LSAT! I'm fine working amid noise and activity provided it's not just occasional - that really breaks my focus and gets my attention. Unf…
