  • I had not heard of confidence drilling until seeing this post and listening to the webinar. This has definitely been a huge hindrance for me in the LSAT process so I'm going to start doing this right away and hope I see some improvement in my timin…
  • Hi there! I'm 39 and have been studying for the LSAT for almost a year now, with two takes under my belt. I was a professional dancer and choreographer so this whole process has been like learning a new language. Trying to wake up the other half …
  • @nach0049 said: Hey all, I'm going to be traveling and without wifi next weekend so I'm wondering if it's possible to access the tests and 7sage materials offline? Is there a way to download tests, problem sets and/or videos ahead of time…
  • Received a step-by-step email from LSAC a few days ago for the day of the test. It mentions that an ID needs to been shown, but says nothing about a ticket.
  • Same as @grahamallam. I'm not doing any full PTs...just individual sections to stay focused and nail down timing/skipping strategies.
  • Hey there! Yes, when you start taking PT's there usually is variance between your timed vs. BR score. Is your BR score significantly higher than your timed score? Lower level questions are easier as they're designed to be more "intuitive" and thu…
  • @SSBM1000 Thank you for your explanation. I returned to the stimulus and mapped it out accordingly, and it makes sense now. In all honesty, I think the fact that the wording from stimulus to ACs was so exact (not changed or disguised in some way) …
  • Has anyone run the test to make sure their computer's technical requirements are being met? I was instructed to download an updated ProctorU extension for Chrome that looks incredibly invasive. I assume this so they can control things from their e…
  • You might have to refresh the page over and over again until it finally loads. I've been working at it for 20 minutes but was eventually able to register for a time.
  • I would ask family and friends who have quieter homes if they'd be willing to let you take the test at their place, but I know that with Covid spiking in some areas at the moment this might be a hard ask. I have heard that some people booked hotel r…
  • I personally recommend completing the CC before doing any PTs, for exactly the reason you stated. If you haven't taken a diagnostic yet, that would be the exception. This gives you a really good idea of what you need to focus on and how far you are …
  • Yes. Here is a link for those who are already registered: https://os.lsac.org/lsat/lsat-flex-July.aspx

  • Welcome to 7sage @oreoval2015! I, like you, self-studied for a few months before my first take last November, and realized very quickly that I was no where near prepared. I did take it (for experience) and did awful, but at least it led me to 7sag…
  • Yes, the set-up is the same.
  • You can buy newer tests in paperback form from Amazon for $8 - $10 each.
  • Hey there! It's incredibly helpful to keep track of the sections/question types you're having the most trouble with, and if there's a pattern you can go back into the CC for review. If you find that you're having particular problems in one type of…
  • I'm signed up for the July test and assume it's going to be flex as well. I live in southeast Michigan and doubt there will be in-person tests before fall, and even that may be a stretch unless they open up more testing sites.
  • You can buy paperback versions on Amazon (search "Actual LSAT"). A book of ten tests is around $25, where as newer tests that haven't been bundled yet can be purchased individually for $7 - $10.
  • You are not alone, @shannon_beaman1. It's so hard to stay motivated in these very stressful and uncertain times. I know that I miss being able to blow off steam and relax by going to the gym or hanging with friends, and the uncertainty of when thi…
  • Hey there! This seems like a frustrating problem and I'm sorry you're not where you want to be. Are you doing BR on your PTs? Are you struggling with timing? If you can track which types of questions are giving you the most trouble you can go ba…
  • You are most definitely not alone, my friend. We all experience these feelings throughout this long journey. I agree with @Magnificent2021 that incorporating breaks is important. I think that there are very few people who can study for hours and …
  • Was 138 your raw score? My diagnostic was in the 130s and I've been studying for almost 8 months, and still working toward consistently hitting my goal score on PTs. Everyone is different, but in general most people study 6 - 12 months in order to s…
  • Hi! I think that's completely up to you, depending on what score you're aiming for and how much time you're dedicating to study before attempting the actual test. Even if you start at PT 36, you'll have over 50 available practice tests to take. If a…
  • Hi there! I started out where you did (diagnostic in 130s) and also sat for the test this past November, under-prepared. I've been studying with 7sage since the beginning of the year and have made a lot of improvement and just signed up for the Ju…
  • Not knowing your particular study habits, I can only stress how important it is to get the fundamentals down and practice each concept fully until you are proficient. Taking personal notes from the videos, practicing every question given, taking ev…
  • Definitely take a few days off. You'll be glad you did when you come back to it.
  • Hi! It sounds like you have been out of school for a while (like me) and so you can get an LOR from employers and professional colleagues. If self-employed and you don't have a pool of professionals to pull from, I would suggest reaching out to lo…
  • I would plan for at least 5 hours, and that's only if conditions are favorable and there are no major hiccups or malfunctions. I took the test in November and there were about 100 people with a 12:30pm start. Once you get there everyone has to be …
  • Yes, I agree completely. I took it in November and found the tablet interface to be temperamental. I don't know how many seconds/minutes I wasted trying to touch and drag on the screen just right so I could highlight or underline something. I've bee…
