  • I think @jdawg is right on the money with RC being very much like LR..with longer stimulus. The question types repeat and are within easily identified quotas per passage (on average). If you know you have trouble with inference questions, look at …
  • @Louis. I've never used PowerScore so I can provide a different perspective. I came to 7Sage after doing a lot of research and I'm glad I did. You have plenty of time to study for June if you start now and if you buy the basic package here, you ge…
  • So I guess I just have messed up priorities, but my favorite part about the LSAT has been studying, and, in particular JY's jokes that are sprinkled in the lessons. I can't remember the lesson, but I was having a crappy go of it until JY made a joke…
  • @thalaiva. I felt fine about the games. I had good setups for the first three games and feel like I didn't get any wrong on those. The last game wasn't difficult, I just didn't have any time to do setup as a result of my new strategy (this was by…
  • My first take was in September of 14 and I did fine, but well off my PT average. After reviewing my responses from LSAC and seeing where I went wrong, I decided I could do better and signed up for December. I started studying for September in Marc…
  • I'm with @jdawg in thinking -12. I might even go with a -11. I suck at games still and felt okay with the games. RC only had one passage that messed with me. LR was tough, but reasonable with only a few wildcards. I think -12 is a good guess. …
  • Ha ya, you can just about guarantee there will be at least one question about either crime rates using absolute numbers and percentages to throw you, or traffic fatalities and speed limits. The questions are almost formulaic. This is particularly …
  • PJ, Another option if you have time: Work your RC the same way you would Games or LR. By that, I mean, go through old ones you've already done and identify the question types you get wrong (structure, inferences, MC/MP, etc) and then work on the one…
  • If you intend to apply for school starting in Fall of 2015, you should be taking the test in December. February is the last acceptable test at most schools, so if you bomb, you won't have a backup, whereas you would if you bombed in December. If yo…
  • When I tested in September, they wouldn't move on to the next part of the instructions until everyone completed the biographical information section. You are given essentially as much time as is needed.
  • Here's a link to a "cheat sheet" that I and a few other students posted to before September. There is some good stuff in there..including NA/SA. Might be helpful to you all too. http://7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/comment/5005
  • Harris, You don't need to buy any extra material. Before I got the Cambridge packets (for convenience and laziness really), I just used old exams I'd already taken, printed them, cut them up and organized by type. I did NOT time myself at all. I…
  • Hi Harris, I struggled with LR for a while and got that to be my best section... which is awesome because there are two of them! If you're already good on LG, then LR is where you likely stand the best chance of increasing your score. I would loo…
  • To provide a counterpoint, I try to spend no more than 3 minutes on a passage and then aim for the questions so I have time to read every answer. When I read, I look for structure or purpose. For example: Was paragraph 1 laying out a phenomenon an…
  • Definitely circle answers on your test booklet. It may slow you down a few fractions of a second, but if you do mess up your bubbling, you can quickly go back and find where you got lost and correct the error.
  • @Genevieve I recommend using a noise generator, like the test taking apps that are out there, or some noise track from YouTube if you think you need sound while studying. Derek and Quick are correct to point out that you don't choose your backgroun…
  • Most university's in the US have a "Pre-Law" advisor. This person should be listed in your LSAC account once you've added your school to your profile. Alternatively, you can probably type your school name and pre law advisor into Google and find t…
  • Hi DD, Not to my knowledge. They are removed prior to the release of the materials to the takers who sat for that particular exam. I don't think they are ever released publicly. The only way to see one would be to take the test when it is offici…
  • @beale Teddy is completely right. We're in a buyer's market. When you combine that fact with the reality of the world regarding "rankings," schools are VERY inclined to consider your highest score, even if it's not much higher than an earlier sco…
  • Just finished registering for December. Not looking forward to the pain and constant tired feeling again, but I'm in it to win it. I don't give up.
  • @msmith I went 5 below. It hurts, but it's motivation for December. Remember, when you buy videos for 73 on Nov 1st when JY posts it, I think you'll get an extension. I know I'm not giving up yet. You with me?
  • Ahh, makes sense now. Missed 101 as thru highest possible. Was counting from 100. Thanks! And I just got my score by email. Retaking can't get in to see where I messed up but I'm assuming it was games. Anyone get in to their full report yet?
  • @ewch based on your link, 89 is the minimum for 170 which would indicate a -11 curve. I wish it was -12!!! Thanks for posting this, though. I can't get the website to load.... still. Any details that folks are getting, please post it here! I'…
  • As of 4:10, still not posted. Edit: As of 4:30, same. Off work, getting take out and a redbox. Omnes una manet nox. (word to my fellow West Wingers!)
  • Have you tried hitting CTRL - (that's the minus key) to zoom out or looking at it in another browser or on another computer? I'm thinking this is a settings issue. Looks good to me on my screen - no fuzzies or pixelation.
  • @Synergy Nah no worries, was just thinking maybe you had seen a score in your profile which would be super exciting!
  • @synergy do you know firsthand or just hearing from others? I can't login so can't check Edit: as of 3:33 eastern was able to get in - no scores posted.
  • Thanks @Blake ...confirming LSAC has suffered from the LSAT waiters' hug of death. Can't login. @msmith told my boss to expect depression and moody responses to questions for the next few days..begged not to be fired as a result. @dudelsat99 y…
  • Checking in from work. I feel bad for their IT folks. Their website must get hammered by folks like us who are refreshing...let's call it "often"
  • For those curious folk, the official date of release is still the 22nd, but LSAC seem to be a bit more efficient and usually release the scores a few days early. http://www.manhattanlsat.com/resources/actual-score-release.cfm provides a decent hist…
