Hey,
I'm a huge fan of stats, it was my secret undergraduate passion. I think an important thing to remember is that a wait list does not mean a rejection, not even close. You applied to a TONNE of schools, and so di…

@westcoastbestcoast wow! that's amazing. Few questions for you.
1) how long did you study for and what did you use?
2) Do you feel like you could have surpassed 165 if you studied longer? Or do you think that was a reall…

If you have a JD MBA and apply to business related jobs, they will think how do we know this applicant wont jump ship and end up practicing law. Or better yet, why isnt he a lawyer. Did he not have the intellectual chops to practice law. The same co…

@"Seeking Perfection" Yes, exactly - I don't think waiting a year or two will fix anything, except I won't be burned out. The first time I studied I self-studied with books; the second time I did an online self-paced Bluepr…

There are good arguments on both side. @"Paul Caint" makes some good points. On the other hand, having some background knowledge on black letter law can help you start practicing the issue spotting exams earlier than your peers. Admittedly, the prof…
Why did u have a panic attack? Was it because you didnt feel 100 percrnt prepared? Or is this a pre existing condition. In any case, i would focus on treating this condition first before proceeding to work through prep for a retake. Law schools is a…

If I amended my title to read: "For those with T3 aspirations, is it 175+ or bust now?", would your answers change in any way?…
The best rule of thumb is to not live by hard and fast rules about what numbers you need. Do your best to maximize your lsat score, build up your softs and compose a strong application. Apply broadly. Dont limit yourself to just T3 or T13.

I wonder if in the future, with schools accepting the GRE and with the ABA eliminating the LSAT or any test requirement that the law school admissions will become more holistic
Sounds about right. But remember that with the cycles becoming more competitive, numbers alone may not be enough for T6. Plenty of people with high numbers underperformed for those schools, while those with lower numbers got accepted. Softs, intervi…

Another theory is that perhaps law students realize late in the school year that law school may not be what they expected. Because they invested so much time and money, they figure that they should just cope and deal with it.
On top of skipping aggressively, you need to spend as little time qs possible on the easy qurstions while being accurate so u can get the hard questions right
