I think this is a great plan. You want to make sure that you drill/BR practice sets and have a deep fundamental of the course before touching any PTs. Also, the Trainer is great with flaw question types and RC.
Where are you currently scoring on your PT's? If you are still a bit far away from your target score, I'd hold off on doing timed sections as of right now. Go through the entire 7sage curriculum and drill the Cambridge packets that use PT 1-38.

Yes, please stop taking PTs until you are finished with 7Sage. Also, drill problem sets and get familiar which each category before you move on to PTs.
