Hey guys, is anyone willing to look over the first draft of my personalstatement? I just want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction. Willing to do a swap if needed! Thanks!
Hello,
I have a really really rough draft of personalstatement and wanted to know if anyone would want to swap to review. Also am I allowed to post my PS here? Thanks.
When is it appropriate to send a "Why School X" essay? Are there any T14 schools where one should send such an essay along with the personalstatement even if it's not asked for or are they for if you get waitlisted?
I looked at the packages and it doesn't seem so. I also couldn't find any threads on this. Just wondering if it's possible to do hourly consultation/personalstatement discussion (not edits) with 7sage.
... resume, a copy of my personalstatement and at least two months ... that I finish writing my PersonalStatement and send it to them ... am still working on my Personalstatement but will send a preliminary ...
I am planning on writing optional essay #1 for Duke as I feel my personalstatement doesn't fully address why law school is the next step for me, but I was curious as to how long these essays typically are. Should it be 2 pages like a PS or less?
I'm probably getting caught up over trivial details, but what do you guys put for "Step two: Describe the file" when submitting your personalstatement on law school apps? Just "PersonalStatement"? Same question for "Why School X"/"Why Lawyer" essays.
If the PS instructions do not specify a font size, is it acceptable to use 11 pt. font? If so, should the rest of the application materials be uniformly at 11 pt. font?
I'm hoping to submit within the week, and I've gone through a few drafts of my PS. Anyone willing to offer some feedback or swap PS with me? Id appreciate it - just comment or PM.
If an applicant has distinguished her/himself in, say, art, would s/he send examples of such artwork? Or only make mention, in the personalstatement, of the accomplishments and/or accolades accrued from that endeavor?
