This is a good question. I haven’t taken the LSAT yet, but my first PTscore wasn’t great. It’d be interesting to know how much you can actually improve though. I’ve read that it’s only 5 or so points but I am hoping this isn’t always the case.
I would prioritize getting the score you want/need rather than applying earlier. you gain a lot more with a higher score than you would applying on day1.
The difference between my diagnostic and current PTscore is 20 points (157 - 177.) I've been at it about 20-30 hours a week for nearly 11 months. You can surpass your goal with effort.
