I just began my study about a month ago and have been using the LSAT Trainer and the Powerscore LG Bible. I also have the 10 actual LSAT prep books for tests 28-71
@Meeeetch my gpa was around a 2.3-2.4, so a 165+ would be, I would say minimum, to get a semi-competitive application for the upper echelon of schools. :/

Personally, I have never seen that to be the case and was not told to write one by my consultant and one grade out of ~40 is likely not going to make too much of an impact on your GPA. GPA addenda are for addressing low GPA, not addressing a single grade.

Hello, I live in Canada as well. From what I read ranking would not be much help because people are mostly advised to study in a province that they want to practice. And many provinces have 1 or 2 law schools
Oh no doubt @stepharizona, I wasn't trying to belittle anyone but it just caught me off guard. It actually scared me because I'd hate to study for a year and not improve my low lsat score.
I love you guys, I have to read the forums after I study for a few hours, because it makes me feel better. @hrc.811213 I am too new to offer any advice but whatever you choose to do, good luck!

Definitely retake! Schools only count your highest score so don't worry too much about the 158. Plus, you have a great reason to explain your 3.3 GPA so with a good LSAT score you no doubt will be able to get into some great schools.
