Though I'm not sure what they'd lose by offering the waiver. If they were really scared that such candidates would reject them (and affect their stats negatively), they could just reject them or waitlist them after they applied.
@10000019 thanks for your reply. Is there anything I can or should do to see if I can improve my chances of getting accepted? I know the email states it's not a waitlist...but should I send in a LOCI? Or should I just wait? Thanks so much for your help.
@lsatplaylist it's one of my top choices! Any suggestion/thoughts on what you think I should do? The email said "this is not a waitlist" so should I hold back on writing LOCI?
I have also been hit by the wait-list wave. I got wait-listed at Columbia, Georgetown, and UCLA all this week. I applied mid-December so it might be the large amount of applications.
