I'll never forget the proctor with bad clock and "I'm always right" attitude. Oh, and the 60 or so pissed off future law students who knew they wer short-changed. I didn't notice anyone else, I was in the mode. -

I always chew gum when taking tests, did it all through university lol. I don't think it would be a problem as long as you're not chewing loud. But again, it could depend on the proctor. I chewed the last time and it wasn't a problem. -

I wouldn't rely on that crutch either. Say you get used to it and then your proctor ends up telling you "no gum"...just another thing to throw you off on test day -

Everything you do is dictated by the proctor. When the 35 minutes are up, you absolutely cannot go back and fill in any remaining questions. You will be kicked out if caught.

There is no pause between sections. As soon as one ends, the proctor reads the instructions for the next one and starts the clock again. -

Correct, you may have something like 20ish seconds in between the sections.
