Hey! I'm just starting to PT, but I'm also testing in September. I would be down to go through some PTsinthe 50s (though I will probably be using those as individual drill sections). My schedule is super flexible.
I think they are easier too, particularly inthe 40s and 50s. I also noticed a shift inthe70s and even more so inthe 80s. They may not be harder, per se, but they are definitely different.
@AshleighK I also need some more comparative practice! It just sucks that you have to randomly go through thePTs to find them. And I'm totally skipping PTsinthe 40s and 50s-- just using 50s to drill.

Look at the curve (questions wrong to get a 170). If it's like 8 or 9, it's abnormally easy. Otherwise, I find PTsinthe 30s to be much easier than the newer PTs. Have you only been using PTsinthe 30s?

Strengthen and Weaken questions get unbelievably tough inthe70s+, so that's my vote. Every other type of question can be formulaic after a while but some of the credited answers for Strengthen questions are coming from out of left field lol

Tests inthe70s and 80s are very similar. I think making a strategy for these is just probably overthinking it. Just prepare for the more recent tests as usual, and you'll be fine. Trying to game it probably just takes more effort than it's worth.
