Live Class Community Guidelines
Hey there, 7Sagers! Welcome to our live classes, a place to learn, engage, and grow together. Before we embark on this exciting journey, let's make sure we’re all on the same page with our community guidelines:
Behavior in the Chat
Stay on Target: Friendly banter is welcome, but let’s keep it to a minimum so we can focus on the LSAT.
Behavior on Mic
Wait Your Turn: Feel free to chime in with a question, but remember to mute yourself when not speaking or being addressed by the instructor. It keeps things smooth and sweet for everyone.
No Offensive Language: Let's maintain a respectful and professional environment. Avoid using language that may be offensive, hurtful, or inappropriate.
Behavior on Camera
Appropriate Attire: Though virtual, live class meetings are a public space. If your camera is on, please make sure to wear complete and presentable attire- if you wouldn’t wear it outside your front door, it’s probably not appropriate for a live class either.
Appropriate Background: Be mindful of the space visible behind you, and make sure that any art and decorative items in view are family friendly. If in doubt, it's a good idea to enable background blur so other participants won't be able to clearly see your surroundings.
Language and Content
Keep It Classy: A slip-up here or there is human, but please refrain from excessive cursing.
Be Nice: It goes without saying, but we're saying it anyways. Treat instructors and fellow students with respect and kindness. If you disagree with someone, express your opinion in a polite and constructive manner. Remember, everyone is here to learn and grow; fostering a supportive environment will only enhance the experience for everyone involved. Let's lift each other up and create a community we're all proud to be a part of.
Friendly, Not Flirty: Being friendly is always encouraged, but flirty messages to students and teachers? Not in our classroom. Let’s keep it professional.
Participation
Getting Involved: Participation is highly encouraged! Our instructors will clearly set the participation rules at the beginning of class, but if you have a question, don’t be afraid to ask by raising your hand on Zoom or typing your question in the chat.
Please be mindful of other students' wanting to participate too! We'd like everyone to feel welcome to volunteer or ask a question in class.
Now, return to your regularly-scheduled programming!.
