Postponing...

I'm currently registered for the January 26th test but don't think I'll be ready. Can schools see if I change my test date? Does that show up as a "cancel"?

Also, it seems like it'd be slightly cheaper to do the "Change registration date" instead of canceling, getting the partial refund and then re-registering. Does that sound right? Thank you in advance.

To the best of my knowledge, schools cannot see if you postponed. I would call LSAC and ask them directly. They tend to be easy to work with over the phone for simple information / process questions like this.

If you know you wont be ready, postpone. I made the mistake of just going through with it anyway in November. It turned out exactly like how one would expect. Sometimes I do dumb things. Postpone or delay a cycle, and come back with your best foot forward.
