I register for the January test in California specifically SoCal area. Im sorry but scheduling was awful, my nearest test center is 50 miles away compared to the first time which was only 10 miles. Now I have to travel 50 miles and take a test at 7:30 am.

Atm, I believe only the Wednesday (1/7) and Thursday (1/8) scheduling dates are open for reservation. It's possible that once the Friday and Saturday scheduling dates open later today and tomorrow, additional test centers (like the one closest to you) might become available. I ran into the same thing last time I registered - the test center closest to me was only available for weekend testing. It's likely worth waiting until the remaining dates open. You should have received an email from LSAC regarding in-person scheduling that outlines when those dates become available.

My testing center originally filled up and I was considering driving across the border into the states to take it - luckily I've been checking at random points all day and a spot opened up near me. People change and move around their times a lot, just keep checking to see if a better/closer slot opens up or honestly just take it remotely!

@karlg7 I live in Canada but real close to the U.S. haha, so it would have been like a 1.5 hour drive but yeah def not doing that!

I'd recommend taking the test remotely instead of in a testing center, especially when you would have to get up around 5:30 - 6:00 A.M on test day. You want the environment as relaxed and smooth as possible.
