Is anyone else confused, the email I recieved a week ago says it opens at 11:00am today then a link I click in LSAC says 11:00pm. Then my LSAT page does not say a time?

its their new policy. "First register, first in line". My understanding is you get a scheduling time assigned to you based on when you paid for the registration fee. 11 am is when their scheduling for everyone starts. I might be wrong in my interpretation, but if EVERYONE got 11am in their email but on individual links we get different times, then this is what it probably means
@steamboatwillie This makes sense, I just hate that they're not clear like ugghhhhhh
Okay so just make sure whether your portal says 11pm UTC or not. You need to convert to your timezone from UTC.
And if you're on the east coast, then convert to EDT not EST. Apparently that is a difference too. Pls double check before you just follow whatever im saying here tho. Just wanted to let you things as I am finding out too.
honestly the whole thing is ridiculous. i just noticed mine says UTC but their email states 11 am EST. How about using consistent way to mention time, lawhub??? 🙄
@steamboatwillie That's why I thought is was a glitch but even so that means 6pm EST for me, but I don't have that information anywhere its so annoying
I also had gotten an email that registration was opening at 11am ET which is what my portal said, and then I went in to schedule at 11am and now it says my time is 7pm ET? The chatbot is also not working for me to message them. Wondering if their system went down from volume? I sent an email about it and can update you when I hear back!
@Dagny I also emailed, I just wish they were more clear, they should put your window in jd services this is really confusing to me
@k13lawwwwww 100% with you - the email said it was 11am ET and that is even what my portal said up until 11:03am ET when it updated to 7pm and said it wasn't open yet.
@k13lawwwwww Just to report back it unfortunately has gotten worse. I got 7pm UTC to register (3pm ET) after it originally said 11am ET in my portal. I went in to register and it wouldn't show me August, only September (I'm also registered for that one). After logging in and out and refreshing a bunch, it then assigned me a new time of 7pm ET to register. Hope you're having better luck than me, have been on hold for 30 mins with LSAC now :(
@Dagny OH NO!!! That's so annoying, I haven't figured it out either, good luck, in this together !!
It tells me in the prometric site that my time is 11:59pm but I got an LSAC email that says 11:00am today??????????
