hey everyone -

according to what i know when you submit can affect your chances of being admitted to a certain school

so earlier submissions could lead to higher chances of being accepted in general

but i was wondering whether the timing of your application could affect your scholarship amount as well-

especially i was wondering if i should apply to a certain school asap if i have the median lsat for that school, or shld wait for a better lsat score if my goal is not only A but A + max scholarship

    Good question, @wejklfk!

I didn't see any radical effects of app timing on scholarship this cycle other than this - if you were admitted later in the cycle. So we're talking about admit offers in Feb/March versus February-and-earlier. And this wasn't horribly widespread either - just something I noticed in here and there.

Regarding your question about waiting to take a higher LSAT, I'd encourage you to check out lawschooldata or this page on our site (https://7sage.com/admissions/decisions-tracker/by-application?has_applied=true) to see what happened to applicants with your statistical profile at the top schools you're targeting. The first consideration is if you see a different scholarship for a higher LSAT. If you do, then the next question is if you think you have time to get that higher score before it becomes too late to be relevant (eg, it's great that you really want to perfect that turkey recipe, but bringing the perfect turkey over on Black Friday isn't helpful).
