Why do they keep flip flopping back and forth without any logic?
Should anyone affected by this just wait this cycle out?

Well this just ruined my day. They really got my hopes up, but looks like all my target schools just turned to reaches :/
@fssilver Honestly, consider emailing them to tell them how much this changing back and forth has hurt. They say in this update that they changed it back after complaints, so clearly they are responsive.
@svlss I emailed them last night and already got a response just restating their decision. I know there are other people reaching out, so hopefully they'll consider changing it to an opt in system. It's more so frustrating because applications have already opened and people have already started hearing back. To make such a big change that can drastically affect people's applications so late is ridiculous. And even if people wait until the implementation next year, there's no guarantee they won't reverse it again.
@fssilver Im going to reach out to them as well, I don't know why they would ever announce something they wont stand by. Do you mind sharing the gist of your email? I'm not sure what I should say in mine. I just really don't understand why it is necessary to push back implementation A WHOLE YEAR- especially one as beneficial as this! This along with all the interface changes ugh, will it ever stop getting worse.
@koi I basically just asked for them to reconsider the reversal and to consider an opt in system for this cycle. I emphasized that apps are already open, so it's unfair to drastically change so many people's applications once again. I also mentioned that other people feel the same way. I've already heard of multiple people emailing about this.
I also reached out to my community college and asked about the possibility of changing my transcript to pass/fail. I'm really hoping that will do something as those grades are from 8+ years ago :/
@fssilver The pass/fail change is worth a shot, I think I will reach out to my CC too just because it was from 5 years ago when I did not care about doing well in school because my frontal lobe was not developed lol!!!!! Im going to urge more people to email them. The email is LSACinfo@LSAC.org correct?
@koi Correct! And I got a response back from that email :)
I'm concerned that they'll reverse again for the next cycle :(
@saulgoodman439120 yeah, not really any good reason to trust them when they completely 180 on policies within weeks. This just makes them look so unprofessional
