I've been using a technique I found on reddit for highlighting and I thought it was a game changer. When highlighting, only highlight one word in a sentence or per point, and only after you've read through the paragraph. Blue is the main point, yellow highlight premises for the main point, pink is the authors opinion and green is allocated to other peoples opinions. When answering primary purpose questions, look for blue. Author opinions - pink, others attitudes - green, and directly stated, use search and look for your yellows.
@SeanStrauss I found the summary was time consuming and I didn’t improve. I currently am around a -2 on RC, and I did worse with summarizing. I think it’s what works for you!

@IvyBurt wow im definetly trying this, do u still jot down low res summaries while using this method?

@IvyBurt Also, so dumb, but I JUST figured out that adjectives and adverbs are a great way to spot authors opinion.
