Any advice on how to improve RC asap? I am taking the September LSAT, and I am aiming for mid 160's. My RC section consistently brings my score down. I always seem to run out of time because I am taking too long to read the passages, but I can't imagine reading them any faster than I am. Help!!
Also, any advice on how to get rid of trap answers is welcome, I'd love to get my BR score lol

How long is your initial read-through? You should be reading the passage in about 2 minutes and leaving yourself the rest of the time to re-read carefully only where necessary to answer questions. Are you focusing that initial read-through on big picture - ie, topic, scope, purpose, and main idea? These are the only things that should be getting your attention on that first read. The challenge for most students isn't learning how to read faster, it's learning which words to focus on when they read. The words you need to focus on are key words that show relationships between ideas; words that indicate viewpoint; and words/phrases that help you break down the structure of the passage. Everything else is detail and will be there to refer back to when (and if) you encounter a question about it. Hope this is helpful - best of luck with your studying!
