Hi everyone, I hope LSATs are going well and no one is (too) stressed out! I noticed today while working on an essay the Northwestern has two different deadlines for Early Decision applications. Per their website:
October 15
Deadline for receipt of JD Early Decision (ED) application
JD Early Decision (ED) application closes
October 31
Deadline for receipt of all JD Early Decision (ED) required materials
What does this mean? I'm especially worried about the Kira interview, but does this mean I could theoretically apply before the 15th but not complete that interview (or for another example, get my letters of recommendation in) until the 31st? I've tried looking this up and am running in circles. Thanks!!

What that means is that you have to have clicked "submit" on your application by October 15th.
By October 31st, NU Law also has to receive your CAS Report.
Most people submit these at the same time, but there can sometimes be a gap because they're taking a future LSAT, they're waiting on a letter of rec, or something like.
And with the Kira interview, NU will give you instructions about this after you submit your app. The chances of you submitting your app by the 15th and then not doing your interview by the 31st are pretty slim unless NU admissions goofs on something. And in that case, they goofed and you'll have some grace there.
