Can someone help me understand how scholarship applications work? Do I have to submit my scholarship application at the same time as my law school application? Or can the scholarship application be submitted later?

Also I was wondering if 7Sage had a bank/resource of all the scholarships available for people to apply to?

So the answer here is a big ol "IT DEPENDS."

If a school requires it as part of the application, that should be duly noted in their app instructions and/or the app form itself. That's because you'll clearly see a place for you to attach or otherwise insert your scholarship app to the regular JD app.

But some schools do these programs by invite only. In those cases, you would submit your app and then get an email or phone call about the program later.

Regarding a database, we don't have one exclusively for scholarship programs but we do have the app instructions page. We've tried to be comprehensive with listing every school's optional documents there!

Scholarship applications get submitted as part of the jd application (not later)! You’ll opt into being considered for your scholarship(s) of choice in the online form and attach essays (as required)
