Hey everyone, I made my decision to go to law school relatively recently, so I have no legal extracurriculars or legal work experience, weak softs. I still want to apply this cycle, and just got back my October score of 174. My gpa is 3.91 so I still have a good file as far as numbers, but I’m wondering if I can actually do anything to make my application competitive at the schools I want, since my lack of experience probably makes me stick out like a sore thumb at top schools. I would appreciate any admissions advice and am looking for a strategist or consultant.

Good question!
If you’re going to apply this cycle, really the only thing you can do is 1) be sure to write good statements, and 2) get your apps in before Thanksgiving if possible. There’s nothing you could do with your resume in the next few weeks to substantially change that aspect of your app. Rather than feel defeated there, just let it go! Make your argument elsewhere!
