PT fatigue has long been framed via how tired you get by section 4.
However, something strange happens with me. On timed sections I do much, much better. Talking like -2 to -4 on LR and -7 on RC. BUT… my isolated section by section performance on ALL four sections of a PT pale in comparison (LR: -7; RC: -10).
In other words, my PT performance is noticeably a lot worse not just on section 4, but on section 1, 2, 3. Is this normal? Usually people frame the difficulty of PTs being about fatigue by the end of it. But it feels like something VERY strange psychologically is happening to me when I do PTs vs. when I do sections. Advice? Any is greatly appreciated!

Hi! This is actually pretty normal. PT fatigue can start before section one because knowing you have four sections ahead creates extra pressure but when tou take isolated sections it can feel like its lowers takes. I would say that your timed-section scores shows that you definelty have the skills. I would reccomend that you start with two sections back-to-back to help you build up a consistent warm-up routine, and then i think this will help you review where your PT misses are coming from.
